This person must have excellent phlebotomy skills since study subjects have frequent laboratory draws. It is important that they adhere to good laboratory practices (GLP) when collecting, processing and shipping the specimens to the testing laboratory.
A site should ensure good access to laboratoy facilities, where needed, before embarking on a trial which requires such services.
